The collective strength of our special community has always been inspired by traditional, nomadic Kazakh villages, known as Auls. Zhailau is the Kazakh term for the summer encampment.
Zhailau is a special time devoted to celebrating the amazing culture of Kazakhstan in the company of our beloved Kazakhstani teachers. This 5-night retreat is all-inclusive, so the price you pay includes lodging, meals, and participation in all activities. There are a variety of accommodation choices available to meet your budget and lifestyle. The week promises to provide an opportunity to bring children and families together to explore Kazakh culture, learn from each other, relax, and play - - all while enjoying the lakefront setting of our host site, the Geneva Point Center, in Moultonborough, N.H.
Each July, we look forward to gathering again to celebrate our children’s birth culture together. During this memorable time, we nurture existing friendships and establish new ones with families from all over North America. Children have the unique chance to bond with other children whose families have strong Kazakh connections.

All registering adults must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions for Enrollment before submitting your registration.
PAYMENT:

We are able to take online payments for your DEPOSIT ONLY, and with an upcharge of +$12.50 to cover fees. If you would like to pay your $400 non-refundable deposit this way, please click the PayPal "Buy Now" link at the bottom of the registration page. Please note, the upcharge for online payment is extra and will not be credited to the balance of your Zhailau fees.

Registration is not complete until your deposit has been received, either via check or online payment. You will receive an email confirmation of payment within three business days of receipt of your payment.

Completed registrations are due by March 15th to be part of the Housing Lottery (see Zhailau Information Packet for details).

One final payment of your remaining balance is due by May 31st.

Adult: Registrant over the age of 20, attending as parent/guardian/supervisor of child(ren)/youth registered for activities
Youth: Individual aged 13+ years as of the dates of Zhailau who is participating in cultural programming and classes
Child: Individual aged 3-12 years as of the dates of Zhailau who is participating in cultural programming and classes
